Abstract
This Government Insights study presents our top 10 predictions for Asia/Pacific
(excluding Japan) or APEJ governments for 2008. This study discusses key
issues, conditions, and challenges that government officials and organizations
must address as they perform their roles and responsibilities in IT strategic
planning, investment decision making, and technology program delivery.
"As technology and business drivers force governments to further optimize the
value of IT investments, next-generation technologies, such as Web 2.0,
virtualization, mobile technologies, and biometrics, will feature more
prominently on governments' information and communication technology (ICT)
agendas. However, partnerships that help governments understand, deploy, and
measure the outcomes of these technologies will determine the success of
