Abstract
The Danish market for HR management services is in its very early stages. This may seem
surprising since some 80% of the workforce is already served through payroll bureau services.
"The step to real outsourcing of the process and not only the part of the process that can be
taken care of by machines seems large to Danish companies" says Research Manager Mette Ahorlu,
IDC Nordic "The problems in Copenhagen City has showed how critical payroll services are. IDC
believes that smaller and less complex projects will have more success, and the very large complex
deals may be delayed until more success stories are seen. The potential is there, and with a total
market for HRM services of DKK 1.1B and a CAGR to 2009 of 8.8% Denmark is interesting for both local
and international players."
