provides an updated overview of this market. This study includes an estimate of
the market by country in APEJ for 1H05 for chassis and fixed-port fabric
switches by port count and revenue. This study also includes a forecast for
this market by country from 2005 to 2009.
The market revenue for FC switches in APEJ in 2005 is now estimated at
US$191.4 million. The market is estimated to total 370,600 ports, comprising
96,500 ports associated with the chassis-based switch segment and 274,100
fixed-port fabric switch ports.
The three largest country markets in the APEJ region in 1H05 were Australia at
