Abstract
This study discusses the Kazakhstan market for electronic printers - monochrome
and color as well as impact and non-impact - used with all levels of computer
systems. It does not cover point-of-sale printers or small-format printers
featuring widths of less than eight inches. It also does not cover wide format
(A0) products, sometimes known as plotters. The forecasts contain data for the
Kazakhstan printer market from 2005 through 2009. Unit shipments, value of
shipments, and average selling price (ASP) information is presented. Data for
2003-2004 is actual, whereas data for 2005-2009 is projected.
"The printer market in Kazakhstan remains far from saturation. Solid economic
growth and a stable political environment in the country have given all
end-user groups a sense of confidence, which has driven market growth in recent
years and should continue to do so." - Andrey Verkhovod, Research Analyst, IDC
