Abstract
This IDC study presents information on online gaming SPs in the Asia/Pacific
(excluding Japan) or APEJ region. These SPs' online game offerings, company and
game URLs, and original content developers are presented in a data-table
format.
"The region has a total of more than 100 online gaming SPs offering various
online game genres, ranging from massively multiplayer online role-playing
games (MMORPGs) to casual online games. Similar successful online game titles,
such as Ragnarok Online, MU Online, and JY Online, can be found in the majority
of the APEJ countries. The majority of these games originated from Korea
content developers and found success in the games' localized versions," says
