Abstract
This IDC study examines the extent of managed services adoption and adoption
plans by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the Asia/Pacific
(excluding Japan) region, or APEJ. IDC surveyed enterprises in 10 Asia/Pacific
countries to assess their usage and future needs of managed services. The
document also discusses the problems and issues faced with managed services and
the selection criteria that SMEs have when selecting a managed services
provider.
"SMEs are becoming more demanding in terms of selection of a managed service
provider and what they expect from a managed services contract," says Adrian
Ho, research manager, Managed Services and Enterprise Networks, IDC
Asia/Pacific.
