Abstract
This IDC study provides a high-level, comprehensive view of the worldwide
digital camcorder market. It contains 2004 and 2005 actual unit shipments and
total 2006-2010 forecasts. It also contains vendor unit shipment market share
on a worldwide basis for 2005. Analog camcorder shipments are offered as a
comparison, but analog dollar values are not. Data is presented for the United
States, Japan, Western Europe, and the rest of the world (ROW).
