Abstract
This IDC study assesses China's hardware maintenance services market in 2005
and offers IDC's forecast for 2006 to 2010. In addition, this document analyses
the market opportunities by vertical industry, product, and region in China,
and gives an overview of the top 10 hardware support service providers (SPs).
This study can be a reference for service vendors.
"From 2005, some industries have begun to regulate operations strategically and
accelerate the internationalization process. Investment inflows will increase
the competition; however, the IT services market has had more new demands
emerge, such as multi-vendor services. These will positively impact the
hardware maintenance services market. IDC expects China demand for hardware
maintenance services to maintain a double-digit growth rate and spending will
be US$1,794.1 million in 2010, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of
11.8% during the forecast period," says Ting Yang, senior analyst, Services
Group, IDC China.
