Abstract
This IDC study quantifies the aggregate amount of consumer-generated video by
capture device users (i.e., digital camera, camera phone, and digital
camcorder) globally by key regions. It also forecasts where this content is
initially stored, in terms of gigabytes.
"Storage vendors should look to imaging content as a key driver of storage
requirements in the future," said Chris Chute, research manager, Digital
Imaging Solutions and Services.
