Abstract
This IDC Insight examines the ongoing evolution of storage systems as
organizations' data and information management needs become more complex. It
details how these changing requirements and server/storage architectures will
shape the development of a new generation of storage systems (Storage 3.0) that
are highly scalable, easily accessible, and more intelligently organized. It
also provides guidance on how end customers and storage solutions suppliers can
best take advantage of these new solutions.
