Abstract
This IDC study presents an update of the mobile value-added service (VAS)
market in China through to 2006 and includes a look at market sizing for the
mobile VAS in 2006, a market forecast for the 2007-2011 period; updates on the
market situation and other notable topics; and 3G and its effect on the mobile
VAS market in China. It also includes major current and potential service
applications in China' s mobile VAS market, mainly location-based services,
wireless music, mobile instant messaging, and mobile entertainment services. A
look at overseas mobile VAS markets and a comparative analysis are also
included.

management were key issues of regulatory surroundings in China' s mobile VAS
