Abstract
This IDC study provides market forecasts as of December 2007 for the storage
services market for the period from 2007 to 2011. Forecasts are provided for
the total market by functional market and by Western European country.
"The Western European storage services market has seen healthy growth from 2005
to 2006, driven by the need to manage unabated storage growth," says Carla
Arend, program manager, European storage software and services. "Future market
growth will be driven by the search for best practices around the protection of
virtualized and physical environments, as well as a surge to increase
efficiency and make datacenters greener."
