This IDC study reviews and analyzes the market for enterprise systems, servers,
and workstations in South Africa for 2006, with data provided according to
vendor, processor technology, and operating system. The data is further divided
into 10 price bands. The study also provides detailed forecasts of market size
through 2011.

last year, as these machines meet their cost, performance, and business needs.
Vendors will look to increase their share of the emerging SME segment but must
be careful to not lose focus on large institutions, their traditional server
