Abstract
This IDC study (which is a translation of the Japanese report IDC #J8280101)
lists 10 factors that can influence the Japan compliance market in 2008 and
presents IDC' s insights. It also compiles recommendations to compliance
solution providers based on the findings of user surveys, vendor surveys,
interviews with experts, and compliance market size calculation models.
"User companies and their stakeholders have the key to simplify complicated
work processes in the compliance market. Market approach by cross-functional
teams will be indispensable to establish the PDCA cycle for solution
