Abstract
This IDC study predicts the storage support services market will expand from
$8.995 billion in 2006 to $10.057 billion in 2011, representing a CAGR of 2.3%.
Increasing data storage requirements are the driving force behind this growth.
"With the increasing data storage requirements, customers are looking for
vendors that can provide not only storage equipment but also the support
services to ensure that their data is protected," said Matt Healey, research
manager for IDC' s Hardware and Software Support Services program.
