Abstract
This IDC study presents a five-year forecast for the Australia vertical
industries' usage of and spending on information and communication technology
(ICT) from 2007 through 2011. The main purpose of this study is to identify the
recent trends that influence the Australia ICT market, looking at opportunities
and discussing their effects on the five-year forecast.
"Focus on specific vertical markets is no longer a choice but a requirement in
the Australia marketplace. Vendors are faced with a myriad of challenges as
needs in the marketplace are shifting and the competitive landscape is
