Abstract
This IDC Canada study provides calendar 2006 software license, subscription,
and maintenance revenue shares for Canada' s leading enterprise resource
management (ERM), supply chain management (SCM), and customer relationship
management (CRM) vendors, along with a competitive analysis of these vendors.
This study includes license, maintenance, and subscription revenue for these
technologies as defined in IDC' s 2007 Software Taxonomy, 2007 (IDC #205437,
February 2007).
"The Canadian ERP market is poised to continue to keep growing. Industries such
as manufacturing, financial services, energy, and utilities are investing while
the Canadian dollar is strong, and they are looking to increase financial
transparency, operational efficiency, and employee productivity," according to
Joel Martin, vice president, Enterprise Software.
