Abstract
This IDC study outlines the market opportunities in the managed security market
in the Asia/Pacific region (excluding Japan) (APEJ) and details the spending
and buying patterns and behavior of enterprises in the region.
"Security has always been a Pandora' s box for many enterprises as it strikes
close to some very sensitive data and information," says Adrian Dominic Ho,
research manager, Enterprise Networks and Managed Services, IDC Asia/Pacific.
"There is still a lot of education needed in the marketplace to convince
enterprises both of the need to adopt security measures and trust third parties
to manage it for them. Service providers have their work cut out for them."
