Abstract
This IDC study examines the competitive forces active in the Canadian business
outsourcing market. The Canadian BPO market is being pressured by a variety of
new technologies and service delivery models, and this pressure is being felt
by providers and buyers. "The pace of change in the IT services industry has
clearly had an impact on the BPO market in Canada and has affected vendors in
terms of revenue opportunity as well as buyers in terms of spending
intentions," says Jim Westcott, research manager, BPO services.
