Abstract
This IDC study examines the market in the United States for IP VPN services for
carrier-managed services. The document will provide a definition of IP VPNs,
the types of IP VPNs in the marketplace, and market sizing and forecasts. IDC
also provides segmentation such as site to site and remote user as well as CPE
and network-based services.

of managed ports grew by 60%, and approximately 25% of companies surveyed
reported that they plan to implement Layer 3 IP VPN during the next 12 months."
