Abstract
This IDC study presents a profile of Hitachi Data Systems (HDS), a supplier of
disk-based storage solutions to the midrange and enterprise segments in the
Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) or APEJ region. This study provides an overview
of the company' s products and market strategies as well as an assessment of
what the company needs to do to achieve further growth in revenue and market
share.

dynamic storage market, it has continued to innovate and introduce unique
solutions. HDS is now a vendor active in addressing the needs of customers in
