Abstract
This IDC Buyer Case Study provides readers with an introduction to the identity
and access management market in Canada. This document also utilizes a case
study approach based on the identity and access management implementation
experience of Palliser to provide additional perspective on the matter.
Information in this document was extracted from an interview with an IT manager
from Palliser Furniture and was supplemented with findings from IDC Canada' s
broad foundation of research. IDC interviews hundreds of IT-related firms and
end users annually concerning their use of IT security, buying preferences, and
perspectives on vendor offerings.
The purpose of this document is to provide insight for companies evaluating
identity and access management options. Second, this document also helps
security providers understand some of the issues, challenges, and strategies of
end users that have bought or are faced with IAM purchasing decisions and
implementations.
