Abstract

This IDC study represents a comprehensive overview of the market trends and opportunities for business process outsourcing (BPO) in Vietnam. This BPO study covers qualitative as well as quantitative insights in the Vietnam market through a demand-side survey across 100 organizations from different vertical industries in the private and public sectors of key industries. This study not only provides an in-depth examination of how the current adoption of BPO in Vietnam but also provides vendors with useful information on BPO adoption trends in the market, including organizations' processing activities, decision making, and their perceptions on BPO services.

"This survey showed a great interest level and early knowledge of BPO services from the local business executives. This market would reach its potential as BPO adoption concerns such as cost, security, reliability, and so forth, are fulfilled. In addition, local establishment of reputable international BPO service providers (SPs) could only help to increase awareness and boost confidence level", says Lam Nguyen, country director, IDC Vietnam.
