Abstract
The IDC study gives an overview of the present use and future deployment of
Internet access services, broadband, IP VPN, and IP applications in small,
midsize, and large enterprises across the Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) or
APEJ region in the next 12-24 months.
"Survey findings show that the overall regional adoption of IP technologies and
solutions/applications is mainly driven by small enterprises. This is not
surprising, as this segment makes up the majority of the total market. It is
important to note that there has been significant changes in IP usage and
preferences in the 2007 survey compared with the previous survey findings,"
says Claus Mortensen, principal, Emerging Technologies, IDC Asia/Pacific.
