Abstract
IDC' s survey of more than 700 European enterprises across seven key countries
and regions shows good growth in 2008 budgets. "The number of participants
involved in IT decisions is increasing in Western European organizations and
the corporate management team now has an increasing influence in the final IT
spending decision," said Laura Converso, research manager, European Services
Markets and Competitive Insights. "IT vendors will need to address these
different groups of influencers with separate messages that address their
specific needs and pain points, and will have to move out of their technical
comfort zone and speak the language of the different customer groups."
