"Improving collaboration remains a top priority for most organizations because
it is the key to achieving higher worker productivity and quality through
better communication about and coordination of content collaborative, projects
and teams. Collaborative applications provide the tools and the access to
information needed by workers to create and share information easily and
securely regardless of location, device, or time zone. Unified communications,
user-driven Web 2.0 workspaces, and software as a service delivery are taking
collaborative applications to the next level." - Mark Levitt, VP, Collaborative
Computing and the Enterprise Workplace, IDC
