Drawn from data generated in IDC' s 2007 U.S. Bundled Services Survey, this IDC
study analyzes 31 communications applications and pinpoints those that generate
the highest levels of consumer interest and willingness to pay.
According to Matt Davis, director, Consumer Multiplay Services, "Service
providers have shifted into a new gear for the delivery of integrated
next-generation applications. The fusion of voice features, interactive
television, broadband, and wireless is creating a new set of opportunities and
challenges that will impact service provider competitive positioning in 2008
and beyond."
