This IDC study contains the worldwide and U.S. IT consulting forecast for
2008-2012. The document describes the market opportunities in the Americas,
EMEA, Asia/Pacific, and the United States and explores the relative impact of
technology adoption on consulting purchases. It provides several
recommendations for IT consulting vendors and purchasers of IT consulting
services.
"IT consulting is entering a time of economic uncertainty, but globalization
and very diverse offerings that include a lot of countercyclical services have
turned this industry into an almost recession-proof industry," said Patrick
