This IDC study (which is a translation of the Japanese report IDC #J7400309)
presents the Japan storage solutions market' s actual performance from 2004 to
2006 as well as forecasts up to 2011. The term "storage solutions market"
refers to the overall market for storage hardware, software, and services.
Besides discussing the actual performance and market forecasts, IDC analyzes
the current situation of storage solutions vendors in Japan, including the
issues faced, through a comparison with the worldwide market. Furthermore, IDC
presents some recommendations for storage vendors in Japan.
