This IDC study provides a top-down sizing of the network test and measurement
market in 2007 and a 2008-2012 forecast for this market. Historical and
forecast revenue data is shown for the total worldwide market and by geographic
region, network type, and service type. This study also contains
vendor-specific revenue and 2007 market shares. "In 2008-2012, two areas of
buildout will drive the network test and measurement market: 4G mobile
infrastructure and IP services. The SPs as a proportion of the customer base
will grow during the forecast period as they take a more proactive approach to
