digitizing hardcopy documents. It contains 2005-2007 actual shipments and
2008-2012 forecast. Moreover, the study discusses trends and changes that have

"The market for scan-enabled solutions continues to expand, growing by 18% in
2007," said Michael Orasin, IDC' s Document Solutions research manager. "This
strong growth is expected to continue, and IDC expects this market to increase
to 3.65 million units by 2012.
