Abstract
This study discusses the market for hardcopy peripherals - single function and
multifunction. It does not cover point-of-sale printers or small-format
printers featuring widths of less than eight inches. Neither does it cover
wide-format (A0) products, sometimes known as plotters. The forecasts contain
data for the Hungarian peripherals market from 2008 through 2012. Unit
shipment, value of shipment, and average street price (ASP) information is
presented. Data for 2006-2007 is actual, whereas data for 2008-2012 is
projected.
"More and more enterprises are starting to take into consider not only the
initial prices of devices but also total cost of ownership (TCO), and
approaching the market from this angle offers much potential. IDC also expects
vendors offering wide ranges of products and solutions at competitive prices
will be more successful in the coming years." - Peter Halash, Research Analyst,
