Abstract
This study provides an in-depth look at the Western European ink and toner
supplies market for the inkjet and laser printer segments. The study contains
quantitative and qualitative data analysis derived from 2007 actual printer
shipments and installed base calculations. Total AAPV, annual page volumes,
printer cartridges ASVs, printer cartridge yields, printer cartridge shipments,
and printer cartridge value of shipments are forecast for 2008 to 2012.
"Growth in page volume is driven by page printer products because inkjets are
predicted to experience a decline in page volume attributed to cannibalization
by MFPs," said Julio Vial, quarterly research manager, IDC' s Printers group.
