This IDC study profiles some of the leading and emerging managed services
providers in the Philippines. It also discusses the issues and challenges that
they faced, as well as the current industry conditions in the country.
"The managed services market in the Philippines faces many challenges, from
lack of education to an absence of clear leadership in the marketplace in terms
of promoting this concept," says Adrian Dominic Ho, research manager, Managed
Services and Enterprise Networks, IDC Asia/Pacific. "However, local managed
service providers (MSPs) should start looking, planning, and positioning
themselves for future growth opportunities, as the market potential is enormous
