This IDC study outlines our forecast for Canadian information technology (IT)
spending and growth over 18 vertical markets for the five-year period between
2008 and 2012. It updates our previous forecast document Canadian IT 2007-2011
Forecast by Vertical Market (IDC #CA12SMBC7), and its purpose is to outline the
highlights, drivers, and inhibitors over these vertical markets and how current
trends are impacting IT spending. It also provides details of IDC Canada' s
updated forecast for Canadian IT spending, broken down by IT segment (hardware,
software, and IT services) for these vertical markets.
