Abstract
This IDC study looks at the China securities solutions market and its
competitive landscape in 2007. Included are the dynamics and forecasts for the
securities IT application solutions sector. This study specifically looks at
competition among China' s top securities IT solution providers in 2007 and
provides a forecast of the securities IT application solutions market over the
next five years. Moreover, we examine IT spending, by solution and by region,
make our projections for the major securities solution markets.
"In 2007, the securities industry IT solution market totaled RMB 919.2 million.
Investments will remain in core business systems over the next five years,
while financial auditing/risk management, customer relationship management, and
core business systems will be investment hotspots for China' s securities
industry IT applications over the next five years, with compound annual growth
rates of 15.2%, 14.4%, and 11.1%, respectively," says Serena Shang, senior
analyst, Cross Products and Vertical Research, IDC China.
