Norway Software 2007 Vendor Shares and 2008-2012 Forecast

Abstract

The Norwegian software market picked up further growth in 2007 compared to 2006 and recorded a healthy growth rate of 10.1% and IDC expects it to grow by a CAGR of 7.3% for 2008-2012. "While many companies started to worry about the economy slowing down, the software growth in 2007 was above expectations and quite healthy. We expect the software market to be fairly resilient to the dampened financial outlook but nevertheless expect it to slow down over the next 2-3 years," said Per Andersen, managing director at IDC Nordic.
