Abstract
The Swedish software market slowed down slightly in 2007 compared to 2006 but
still recorded a healthy growth rate of 8.1% and IDC expects the Swedish
software market to grow by a CAGR of 7.0% for 2008-2012. "While many companies
started to worry about a slowing down of the economies, the software growth in
2007 was above expectations and quite healthy. We expect the software market to
be fairly resilient to the dampened financial outlook but nevertheless expect a
slowing down of the market over the next 2-3 years," said Per Andersen,
managing director at IDC Nordic.
