Abstract
This IDC study examines the supply chain and services operations and workforce
management analytic applications market and vendor shares for the period
2005-2007.
"In 2007, the supply chain and services operations and workforce management
analytic applications market grew 10.0%. IDC expects the market to maintain
this level of growth for the foreseeable future with the continued potential
for slight upside improvements after the second half of 2009," said Brian
McDonough, research manager, Business Analytics Solutions. "The healthy growth
is due to a large and fairly mature underlying applications market that
generates significant amounts of critical data for analysis and a diverse group
of recognizable software suppliers."
