Abstract
In 2007, there were over 117 million units of dental prosthetic devices sold
in Asia Pacific. This number is expected to grow quickly, reaching 177 million
by the end of the forecast period. The number of patients requiring dental
restorations is increasing as baby boomers age. In addition, people are
becoming more concerned with their appearance, and hence, dentists are
performing more cosmetically-driven procedures.
