2011 and per quarter for the period 1Q 2005 - 4Q 2007; includes forecast and
recent years' review of worldwide shipment volume and share by region, by CPU
connector type, and by chipset supplier; also includes worldwide motherboard
vs. worldwide desktop PC shipment volume ratio.
Research Scope
This research focuses on motherboards, which can be divided by CPU connector
type into socket A, socket 939/745, socket 478, LGA775, and others.
Motherboards in this study are those shipped at the pure motherboard level.
Companies surveyed are the major global motherboard makers operating ODM, OEM,
EMS, CEM, and OBM businesses; production sites and shipment destinations
include Taiwan, China, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, North America,
Latin America, Western Europe and other European countries, and other regions.
