Abstract
The report is devoted to investigation of current standing of market of
dolomite and current standing of company-producers of the products in CIS
countries. The report describes only enterprises, the main product of which is
metallurgical dolomite and dolomite for glass industry. Enterprises,
specialized in production of dolomite (ground dolomite) for agriculture and
broken stone are not covered by the study. The report consists of 6 Sections,
contains 83 pages, 19 Figures, 41 Tables and Appendix.
The first Section of the report presents data on resources base of dolomite in
CIS countries, including regional structure of location of reserves of
dolomite in Russia, data on reserves of the greatest of deposits of dolomite,
and data on reserves of dolomite in other CIS countries.
The second Section is devoted to description of the main end-uses of dolomite
in industry and available classifications of dolomite products and
requirements, imposed on their quality.
The third Section is devoted to analysis of data on volumes of mining and
production of dolomite in CIS countries in 2000-2006, including statistic data
on volumes of mining and production of dolomite by leading companies,
description of their current standing, commodity structure of production,
characteristics of produced products and analysis of the main destinations and
volumes of supplies for the latest 3 years.
The fourth Section is devoted to analysis of foreign trade in dolomite of
Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, including dynamics of exports and imports,
regional structure of supplies, data on volumes and destinations of supplies
of the greatest exporters and importers of dolomite.
The fifth Section presents analysis of consumption of dolomite in Russia. The
Section offers supply-demand balance of dolomite, appraisal of sectoral and
regional structure of the consumption, data on volumes and destinations of
supplies of dolomite to enterprises of ferrous metallurgy and glass industry,
which are the greatest consumers of dolomite.
The sixth, final Section of the report presents forecast of development of
market of dolomite in CIS countries in 2007-2010. Forecast of development of
end-uses became basis for preparing forecast of consumption of dolomite.
The Appendix includes addresses and contact information on the main
company-producers of dolomite in CIS countries.
