Abstract
The report is devoted to studying of current standing of market of magnesite
in CIS countries and forecast of its development. The report includes 5
Sections, 107 pages, including 29 Tables, 30 Figures and Appendix. The report
is a desk study. As information sources, data of Federal Service of State
Statistics (Rosstat), Federal Customs Service of Russia (FCS), official
domestic railage statistics of Ministry of Railways of Russia, data of
companies, the sector and regional press, annual and quarterly repots of
companies, internet-sites of company-producers and consumers of magnesite were
used.
The first Section presents brief characteristics of standing of world market
of magnesite (reserves, production, prices) in 2006.
The second Section describes in details mineral resources base of magnesite in
the CIS and presents data on mining (production), export, import and
consumption of magnesite in CIS countries in 1999-2006. Besides, it presents
descriptions of the main enterprise-producers and consumers of magnesite in
Russia.
The third Section is devoted to production, export, import and consumption of
magnesian products in the CIS in 1999-2006. The Section presents data on
production of magnesian powders and articles from magnesite. Besides, it
presents descriptions of the main enterprise-producers and consumers of the
products.
The fourth Section is devoted to description of the main enterprise-producer
of magnesite and magnesite-based commodity products - JSC
«Magnesite».
The fifth Section describes standing and forecast of production and
consumption of magnesite in the CIS up to 2010
The Appendix presents contact information on enterprises, producing magnesian
products in CIS countries
