Abstract
The report presents information-analytical material for specialists in field
of production, trade and application of articulated rock haulers.
As market of articulated rock haulers in Russia demonstrate intensive
development the greatest attention is paid in the report to technical features
of the machines and structure of their usage. The work presents quantitative
analysis of practically the whole fleet of articulated rock haulers, available
in Russia by brands and weight-carrying capacity, and breakage of the machines
fleet by companies and regions. Presented detailed information on dealer and
servicing network of each company-producer allows to reveal precisely regions
of the highest demand for articulated rock haulers.
Detailed information on performance data of articulated rock haulers,
presented in Russia, added with given price analysis of the machines and
financial terms of transactions at the market, will allow consumers to choose
required equipment at the best price/quality relationship.
The report is a desk study. As information sources, data of Federal Service of
State Statistics (Rosstat), Federal Customs Service of Russia (FCS), official
domestic railage statistics of Ministry of Railways of Russia, data of
companies, the sector and regional press, annual and quarterly repots of
companies, internet-sites of company-producers and consumers of the products
were used. Besides, we applied data, received in the course of telephone
interviews with their leaders and specialists of above 10 dealers of the
facilities to reveal reasons and preferences of purchasers of rock haulers and
to specify sectoral structure of the consumption and competitive advantages of
individual brands at the Russian market.
