Abstract
The report is devoted to studying of market of float glass in Russia and
forecast of its development. The report consists of 7 Sections, 108 pages,
including 47 Tables, 27 Figures and Appendix. The report is a desk study. As
information sources, data of Federal Service of State Statistics of Russia
(Rosstat), Federal Customs Service of Russia (FCS), official domestic railage
statistics of Ministry of Railways of Russia (JSC RZhD), data of companies,
the sector and regional press, annual and quarterly repots of companies,
web-sites of company-producers and consumers of float glass were used.
The first Section of the report is devoted to analysis of current standing of
world market of sheet glass.
The second Section describes technologies of production of float glass.
The third Section of the report presents data on reserves of the main kinds of
resources for production of float glass, volumes of their production, volumes
and destinations of their supplies in 2005-2007.
The fourth Section describes production of float glass in Russia. The Section
presents statistics of float glass production in 2000-2007, estimation of
regional structure of the production, describes the main Russian producers of
float glass.
The fifth Section analyses foreign trade operations of Russian companies in
float glass. It presents data on volumes of export and import of the products
in bulk and in money terms, estimation of regional structure of the supplies,
data on volumes of supplies of glass of leading Russian exporters and
importers.
The sixth Section of the report presents supply-demand balance of float glass
in Russia in 2000-2007, estimation of regional and sectoral structure of
consumption of the products, analysis of factors, which owe demand for float
glass at Russian market.
The seventh Section, devoted to price analysis, presents data on dynamics of
average prices of Russian producers on float glass for the latest 7 years, as
well as dynamics of average consumer' s prices on the products. Analysis of
export-import prices is given. Forecast of price conjuncture of the market of
up to 2015 is presented.
The eigth Section is devoted to forecast of supply-demand balance of float
glass in Russia in 2008-2015. Based on the forecast of launching new and
modernizing available capacities, 3 scenarios of the forecast of float glass
production up to 2015 have been elaborated. Besides, the forecast of
consumption of float glass has been prepared, taking into account the forecast
of development of the main end-uses of sheet glass.
The Appendix presents contact information on the main Russian producers of
float glass
