Abstract
The report is devoted to investigation of current standing of ammonia market
in the CIS and forecast of its development. The report contains 6 Sections,
140 Pages, including 30 Figures, 38 Tables and 2 Appendices.
The work was done in two stages: "desk studies" and "field activity". At the
first stage, many information sources were analyzed, first of all, data of
state bodies: Federal Service of State Statistics of Russia (FSSS of Russia),
CIS inter-state statistics committee, Federal Customs Service of Russia (FCS
Russia), State Customs Service of Belarus, Statistics of railage of Russia
(RZhD data). Besides, we used the enterprises reports, own InfoMine database,
materials of mass-media and internet sites.
At the second stage, the summarized data were verified and refined by the way
of telephone interviews with specialists of the discussed enterprises.
The first Section of the report presents information on technologies of
ammonia production, used in industry and on the main kinds of resources and
flows of their supplies.
The second Section of the report is devoted to production of ammonia in CIS
countries, including characteristics of current standing of the main producers
of ammonia in the CIS.
The third and the fourth Sections present data on export-import operations in
ammonia Russia and in Ukraine and level of prices on the product.
The fifth Section describes usage of ammonia B Russia and in Ukraine,
including pattern of the consumption, its supply-demand balance, review of
ammonia end-uses, as well as description of the greatest company-consumers of
the product.
The sixth Section of the report presents forecast of development of Russian
market of ammonia up to 2015.
The Appendices present addresses and contact information on enterprises,
producing ammonia in Russia and CIS countries, as well as on the main Russian
consumers of the product.
