Abstract
The report is devoted to research of current standing of market of ceramic and
cement-sand tile in Russia and forecast of its development. The report is
composed of 8 Chapters, contains 106 pages, including 10 Figures, 29 Tables, 3
Appendices. The work is a desk research. As informational sources, we used
data of Rosstat (Federal Statistic Service of Russia), Federal Customs Service
of Russia, official statistics of railage in Russia, sectoral and regional
mass-media, annual and quarterly reports of companies, as well as web-sites
companies producers and consumers of tile.
The first Chapter of the report offers Russian and world history of tile. The
second Chapter briefly describes standing of world market of natural tile with
description of large world producers of tile.
The third Chapter of the report presents data on resources, required for
production of tile, their characteristics and reserves.
The fourth Chapter presents properties of ceramic and cement-sand tile,
considers technology of tile production. The Chapter of the report presents
statistical and estimated data on volumes of tile production in Russia from
1997 to 2007. Besides, the Chapter shows current standing of Russian
company-producers of tile.
The fifth Chapter of the report presents data on foreign trade operations in
ceramic and cement-sand tile in Russia for 1999- 2007
The sixth Chapter presents data on level of prices on tile at domestic Russian
market in 2005-2007, as well as analyses data on changes of export-import
prices on the product.
The seventh Chapter of the report considers consumption of tile in Russia in
1999-2007. The Chapter presents supply-demand balance of the product, regional
pattern of consumption, seasonality of supplies, describes the main end-uses
of the product.
The eighth Chapter of the report gives forecast of development of Russian
market of tile up to 2015, as well as forecast of development of key tile
end-uses.
The Appendix presents technical characteristics of tile and current prices on
it. Besides, the Appendix presents addresses and contact information on
companies, manufacturing tile in Russia.
