Abstract
The report is devoted to investigation of current standing of nitric acid
market in the CIS and forecast of its development. The report is composed of 6
Sections, contains 121 Pages, including 47 Tables, 30 Figures and Appendix.
The first Section of the report presents data on methods of obtaining nitric
acid and resources used, analyses directions and volumes of raw materials
supplies to its producers.
The second Section of the report is devoted to analysis of production of
nitric acid from 1999 to 2007 in the CIS. The Section presents data on volumes
of production, analysis dynamics of production of the product by enterprises
of Russia and Ukraine, describes current standing of producer of nitric acid
in the CIS. The Section presents data on available resources base, volumes of
production, plans on development of enterprises, as well as data on volumes
and directions of supplies of the product for the latest years.
The third Section of the report analyses foreign trade operations in nitric
acid in Russia and Ukraine with analysis of volumes and directions of
export-import supplies.
The fourth Section is devoted to dynamics of prices on nitric acid at domestic
and world markets.
The fifth Section describes consumption of nitric acid in Russia and Ukraine.
Analysis of pattern of nitric acid consumption and its supply-demand balance
are given here, as well as review of the main end-uses of nitric acid, and
description of the greatest Russian enterprises-consumers of the product.
The sixth Section of the report presents forecast of development of Russian
market of nitric acid up to 2015.
Appendix presents addresses and contact information on the main
enterprises-producers of nitric acid in the CIS.
This work is "desk" research, in which many information sources have been
analyzed, first of all, data of state bodies - Federal Service of State
Statistics of Russia (Rosstat), State Statistic Committee of Ukraine, CIS
countries (data on production of the product), JSC "RZHD" (statistics of
domestic railage), Federal Customs Service of Russia and State Customs
Committee of Ukraine (data on foreign trade operations). Besides, we used data
of enterprises and own database of "InfoMine".
This all allowed the authors to reveal actual picture of nitric acid market in
the CIS/Russia and its prospects.
