Abstract
In a recent study published by IMS Research the EMEA pneumatic components
market was estimated to be worth EUR 2245.1 million in 2005. The report
focused on three main product categories; pneumatic valves, pneumatic
cylinders and pneumatic air preparation equipment. A total of 16 product
types were analysed as part of the research, which included valve islands with
Multipole, valve islands with Fieldbus, rodless cylinders and filter
regulators.
The report, designed to be a backward looking tool, also provides market size
estimates for each product type in terms of Euro revenues and unit shipments
together with market share estimates for the leading pneumatic component
suppliers.
