Within the space of 15 months (March 2006 to June 2007), the portfolio has
evolved from what are considered ' core Bluetooth ICs' to include a high speed
version and an ultra low power version of Bluetooth technology (formerly
Wibree). The landscape for Bluetooth wireless technology is changing,
expanding for the better.
According to Anders Edlund, Marketing Director of the Bluetooth, "The

technology evolves, so too does IMS' research. This data will help our members
to understand the key market trends and develop products to meet future market
requirements".
